I just received mine in the mail the other day and yeah you can't get them anywhere but actual Japanese fishing shops. I actually hunted deep into the internet to get my mega Bass rods and all my rare baits you don't get in America. I fish it today but only for a little bit and didn't catch anything yet but I know it will looks delicious in the water

Great video and history of the bait, love this type video, I’m assuming that the dice has a fast sink rate or that water is shallow because you started working the bait not long after it hit the water and you said you was working along the bottom

These would work well for me for shallow river smallmouth when a hellgrammite bite is on, also now there’s a cicada hatch.

My Japanese friend Yasunori Imai sent me a package of the Issei Shizumi Mushi, in the largest size. I did not realize at first that I should be fishing them weightless, and the first time I used one, I put it on a 1/16 oz jighead. I caught quite a few fish on it rigged that way. Since then, I have tried fishing them weightless, but have not had much success with it. So I put it on a 1/16 jighead again, and it worked better for me.

I've some experience with Issei Shizumi Mushi It casts really well You can also rig it from the opposite side to achieve more horizontal fall. Twist lock hook works better for me.Thank you for sharing 👍
